June Siang graduated from University of Reading with a Bachelor’s degree in Law and attained his Certificate in Legal Practice in 2010. He was called to the Malaysian Bar. He obtained a Fundamental Certificate in Islamic Banking and Takaful with Distinction from the Islamic Banking & Finance Institute Malaysia.
His legal practice commenced with his pupillage at Raja Darryl & Loh before practising at a boutique law firm, Badrul Lee & Associates. He started his own legal practice as the founding partner of June Siang & Partners before merging with Donny & Hong to form Donny & Ong of today.
He has extensive experience in advising, negotiating, structuring and documenting acquisition and disposal of business transactions, including advising on transaction structure, addressing complex legal issues, rights and liabilities of parties and methods of completion. He also advises on general corporate and commercial matters.
As part of his contribution to the Malaysian Bar, he is currently and has been the Deputy Chairperson of the Corporate & Conveyancing Committee of Kuala Lumpur Bar for two consecutive terms (2015-2017).
